B-Lab Innovation Laboratory at
Bilingual Colegio Bennett
The B-Lab is an innovation and technology laboratory located at Bilingual Colegio Bennett in Cali, Colombia. This space was co-designed by high school students, teachers, and the administration. In the B-Lab students experiment with 3D printing, circuits, design, robotics, Arduino, LittleBits, TinkerCad, and other programs and materials. H. Sneyder Neira L. was the IT professor at Colegio Bennett for 3 years from 2017 to 2020. He was a key player in the design and co-creation of the B-Lab and its workshops. Additionally, he was in charge of leading classes and workshops in this space, maintenance of the 3D printers, and obtaining lab materials.
With a group of students from the Robotics Open Project we participated in the II International Robotics Contest at the Santiago de Cali University. We use the Lego Mainstorms platform to design, build and program the juice robot that we use in the competition.
Students experiment with the LittleBits blocks and build rapid prototypes of electronics instruments.
Students create a LittleBits robots controlled by their phone.
3D printing process for a piece of the project 3Dponics. The students create a hydroponic garden with 3d printed pieces.
